Chris Martin allegedly hit a paparazzo with his Jeep while leaving Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica with his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow their kids over the weekend but the situation seems suspicious.
Apparently, the pap ran up to the vehicle from around a corner as Chris turned to leave the parking lot when the collision took place. TMZ published pics that show the paparazzo on the ground as paramedics attended to him.
However, the site said there’s something suspicious about the entire incident because the pics were taken by a cameraman standing across the street from the restaurant, even though there were other paparazzi standing closer to the action on the sidewalk.
It seems odd that a more distant paparazzo snapped the pics and other standing closer didn't, leading to speculation that the whole thing may have been a set up. Also, the injured man kept looking directly into the camera as he was being taken away on a stretcher.
