Singers and twins Jedward, 22, had a scary day in Dublin on Tuesday and almost drowned. The brothers got stranded after going for a stroll with their cousin along the coast north of Dublin.
Their mum had to call the emergency services and they were pulled to safely by a helicopter.
Their mother Susanna explained to the Mirror.
“It was terrifying. They ended up on shifting sands, surrounded by water. This could have been a terrible tragedy. The boys were getting more and more desperate as the water was coming in. Thank God the coastguards sent the helicopter up and found them trapped on the sand near Malahide.”
