"The O.C." star Mischa Barton has been hit with a default notice and may lose her Beverly Hills mansion if she doesn’t pay up over $100K in back mortgage payments.
TMZ got hold of the foreclosure documents informing Mischa that she skipped more than 100K in payments on the house which she bought for $6.4M in 2005 and took out a loan for $4.2 million.
Mischa tried to sell the property in 2000 and it was listed at $8.695M but no one bought it. Last year, she tried to lease it for $35K/month but that didn’t work out either.
