Watch: #DustinLynch Gets Hit In The Face With Beer Can At Mullet Festival

Country singer Dustin Lynch was injured and required stitches after a fan threw a full can of beer that stuck him in the face during his performance at Mullet Festival in Niceville, Florida on Friday. The 29-year-old told People magazine:

“I was walking down the catwalk and just wham, out of nowhere this beer can just nailed me in the face. It was a completely full can and it felt like a baseball had hit me.”

The entertainer, who was bleeding after the attack, waited until after the show before heading to an emergency room for treatment. A fight broke out in the crowd as fans tried to apprehend the suspect, but no one was arrested. The singer said: “The moral of the story is don’t throw beer cans, period. It’s not cool. This guy caused an incident that almost ruined a great night.”
