The pic, taken by photographer #PatrickDemarchelierm as a nod to Richard Avedon‘s 1981 Vogue portrait of Nastassja Kinski, was shared on the mag’s Instagram page on Thursday. Vanity Fair‘s fashion and style director Jessica Diehl said:
"Jennifer has the perfect combination of strength, sexuality, and humor, and, above all, tomboy to pull this off."
The March issue of Vanity Fair hits newsstands on February 5.
