Scarlett Johansson has formed a
new band called “The Singles” and the band released its first single "Candy"
on Friday. The song was produced by #DaveSitek, who worked with the actress on her
2008 #TomWaits cover album “Anywhere I Lay My Head." The members of the
band include #HollyMiranda, #KendraMorris, #JuliaHaltigan and #EsteHaim from
the band #HAIM. In a press release yesterday, Scarlett said: "The idea was
to write super-pop dance music written and performed by girls. I wanted it to
be like those bands: ultra pop but also a little ironic, a little in on the
