Michael Phelps is engaged to his on/off girlfriend Nicole Johnson. The #Olympic swimmer proposed to the former Miss California, and the happy couple shared the good news on Instagram with a series of photos of themselves playing in the snow. Michael captioned a pic, featuring her engagement ring, “She said yes,” while Nicole wrote “I’m gonna be a Mrs. [Phelps].”
The couple dated between 2007 and 2008, and then took a break before getting back together shortly before she won the Miss California title in 2010. They broke up again around #Christmas 2011, and got back together before #Thanksgiving 2014. This will be the first marriage for both Michael and Nicole. Congrats to the couple!
