Did Kendall Jenner buy Twitter followers?

Kendall Jenner bought millions of her Twitter followers, according to a new report. In Touch claims that the 18-year-old's social media account is populated by millions of fake Twitter accounts, indicating that she may have paid a service to give her the illusion of massive popularity.

The publication ran the names of the aspiring model's Twitter followers through a fake follower check app, reportedly revealing that over half of Kendall's 7.99 million followers are 'fake' or inactive. In the grand celebrity popularity race on Twitter, Kendall is ranked at 117 (just two tiers below Lindsay Lohan). But when In Touch ran the Twitter handles of the brunette's followers through statuspeople.com they found that around 4.6 million were fake or inactive accounts. A source told the publication: 'Kendall and her sisters have bought a good amount of their followers.'

While another insider went on to claim that Kendall may have had a financial incentive to buy followers, alleging that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star gets paid $1000 every time she tweets an advertisement for a product.
The source went on to explain: 'She knows the more followers she has, the more she’ll get paid to tweet.
