You may remember that in 2012, a woman named Mahogany Miller sued Flo Rida for unspecified damages claiming that he stiffed her out of a fair wage by offering measly compensation.
Miller claimed she was paid $3.08 an hour, less than half the federal minimum wage, for a 65-hour work week. And alleged that she endured long hours when she started working as an administrative assistant for the rapper. When she aired her concerns to him, she was allegedly fired within a day.
Well, the case dragged on for more than 2 years but this week Flo finally agreed to settle and pay her $8,684 and another $10,000 to her attorneys! Money makes the world go round?
