It was reported last week that Jennifer Love Hewitt was suing MarzSrays over a product called Slim Spray, which she claims used her picture on its website without permission. Hewitt also claims she was duped into holding a diet product in photos, but the company is fighting back and saying that Jennifer willingly posed for a ton of pics.
According to TMZ, a rep for MarzSprays, the maker of Slim Spray, claims Hewitt was very curious about their stuff, asked several questions about items and also willingly "posed for the camera over a dozen times."
The company claims it legally purchased the images of her holding the product which makes using her image in their adverts legal. As for Hewitt's claim the product was labelled a "fake" on Shark Tank, they pointed out one of the sharks, Lori Greiner, DID invest in the product which negates her claims. Also, they were even invited back for a recent follow-up episode. Oh dear.
