Lupita Nyong'o donned Suno striped culottes at the CFDA Awards in Manhattan on Monday. The actress paired her sleeveless playsuit with red pumps, blue eyeshadow, stick-like earrings, and a matching knuckle ring. Although she looked gorgeous, the multi-coloured carpet competed for attention with her outfit. The last time Nyong'o divided critics to this extent was her flapper-inspired feathered Prada creation at last month's Met Gala.
Earlier on Monday, the Yale School of Drama graduate confirmed her role in the highly-anticipated Star Wars Episode VII -due out December 2015. 'I can finally say it out loud and proud: I'm going to a galaxy far far away!' she excitedly shared on Instagram.
Nyong'o was born in Mexico, raised in Kenya, and now resides in Brooklyn.
