Che Cruz, 20, who repeatedly showed up at Selena Gomez' house and even entered her property has been ordered to get psychiatric treatment. Cruz pleaded no contest to stalking Selena on Friday, June 20.
A judge ordered Cruz to stay at least 30 days in a mental health facility after which he must complete a total of 180 days at the facility. He was also ordered to stay at least 200 yards away from Gomez and her home for the next 10 years.
Cruz was first arrested in the Selena’s property in Calabasas in late March when he went to the house while Gomez and a friend were reportedly at home. Before they could call security, Cruz rang the doorbell, was told that Selena was not home and he left but was later found in a guest house.
Following the 30 March incident, Cruz was arrested again "near the vicinity" of the singer's house on April 4 and after her was released from jail, he went straight to Selena’s home.
The break-in case involving Cruz was not the first time Gomez dealt with crazy fans. In January, a man named Juan Garcia was arrested after the singer's family members reported that he crept around her Fernando Valley's Tarzana home.
