The comedian who claimed he was Eddie Murphy's son has dropped his $50 million defamation lawsuit against Eddie, in which he claimed Eddie threatened to destroy him with lies and physical violence.
Brando, who changed his last name to Murphy, harassed Eddied on several occasions. He joined the Sons of Comedy tour along with Richard Pryor's son Mason Pryor and even showed at Eddie's regular coffee shop, screaming "My father won't talk to me."
Brando told TMZ that he was deceived into filing the suit and: "It was never my intention to offend Mr. Murphy."
