Cosmetics Company, Elizabeth Arden has sued a company called Preferred Fragrance for selling fake version of its signature products and infringing on its trademarks.
#ElizabethArden, who is the licensed manufacturer of Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift's signature fragrances and cosmetics, has made over $87 million in retail sales on two Bieber perfumes and over $60 million on Swift's lotions and perfumes.
According to the lawsuit, Elizabeth Arden claims the packaging on Preferred’s Bieber products called “Today and Be My Girl” look exactly like the packaging on EA’s version of Bieber, Minaj and Swift’s products.
EA said that Preferred is trying to cash in on its huge success and its now demanding a jury trial.
