Earlier this week, a Canadian fast food worker disrespected Aretha Franklin over a takeaway order. According to Franklin's spokesman, the staffer screamed at the legendary singer after she sat down to eat a takeaway hamburger at a Johnny Rockets restaurant in Canadian, Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Franklin had stopped to eat at the restaurant after her performance at the Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater on the Canadian side of the border when the worker told her that she couldn’t eat inside the restaurant because she had ordered takeout. According to Franklin, the staffer was “very rude, unprofessional and nasty.”
The owner of the Johnny Rockets franchise has since apologized for the way “new and very young employee” treated Franklin and said that he had spoken with the worker and clarified his takeout policies.
