LeBron James, who is from Cleveland and owns a house in Akron, is leaving the #MiamiHeat and returning home to the Cleveland Cavaliers!
James left Cleveland four years ago after an acrimonious split which saw him bolt his hometown to take his talents to South Beach. He wrote an essay-like statement to Sports Illustrated on Friday explaining his decision. Here is a summary:
"I always believed that I’d return to Cleveland and finish my career there. I just didn’t know when. After the season, free agency wasn’t even a thought. But I have two boys and my wife, Savannah, is pregnant with a girl.”
“I started thinking about what it would be like to raise my family in my hometown. I looked at other teams, but I wasn’t going to leave Miami for anywhere except Cleveland. The more time passed, the more it felt right. This is what makes me happy.”
James also said “I'm not promising a championship" but that its his goal which will take several years to accomplish. After the statement was published, #ClevelandBrowns QB #JohnnyManziel tweeted:

Ohio native and Cleveland Indians first baseman #NickSwisher tweeted:
"Alright @KingJames! Let's go Cleveland sports! What an awesome start to the day! Great to see him come back to where it all started!”
