Supermodel Naomi Campbell has coughed up undisclosed damages to an Italian photographer after an alleged attack that put him in hospital in Lipari, Sicily, in July 2009.
The settlement was revealed during her trial for allegedly assaulting on Gaetano Di Giovanni, who claimed his face was scratched and bruised after she slapped him and hit him with her handbag, damaging his left eye with her nails but she denied the allegations and claimed she was besieged by paparazzi while on vacation with ex-boyfriend #VladimirDoronin.
Di Giovanni’s lawyer confirmed his client had settled with Campbell but refused to say how much she paid. Campbell’s lawyer, Francesca Getty, said that the photographer has now withdrawn his claim.
