A new report claims Beyonce and Jay Z shunned Kimye’s Italian wedding because Bey did not want to be overshadowed by the bride so they opted for a quiet weekend in the Hamptons with their daughter Blue Ivy.
According to New York Post's Page Six they shunned Kanye and Kim's wedding because it was too low-rent for the Jay and Bey brand. A source told the publication:
“They are guarding like hell their status. Beyoncé wasn’t going to allow a Kardashian to socially climb her. And Jay didn’t want Kanye with Kim and he thinks it’s bad for business. I think Jay lost a little respect for Kanye there.”
Previous reports before the wedding also claimed Bey thought the secrecy around the Kimye wedding was ridiculous and “just tacky.”
These are just speculations. I mean, do you really believe that Beyonce was so insecure and scared of being overshadowed? Seriously? The truth is that no one really knows why Bey and Jay skipped the wedding and people will continue guessing until they get bored or until one of the couples involved speaks out.
