A New Report Claims #BrittanyMurphy’s Death Could Have Been Avoided

Brittany Murphy’s tragic death could have been avoided if her mother had called for medical help 24 hours before she collapsed, according to a pathologist. Murphy had been so scared of paparazzi she turned into a social recluse and didn’t call for help when she first started having breathing problems.

Murphy’s mother, Sharon only called 911 after her daughter slumped on the morning of December 20, 2009. At the time, the coroner said cause of death was pneumonia and anemia, the same ailments that killed her husband, Simon Monjack, five months later.

Now, pathologist Dr Richard Shepherd, who was involved in examining the deaths of #PrincessDiana and murdered Crime watch host Jill Dando, claims that Murphy’s life could have been saved if she had been seen by doctors 24 hours earlier.

On August 7, a new documentary will examine the final hours of Murphy’s life and expose the extent of her fear of being watched. “Autopsy: The Final Hours of Brittany Murphy” will air on Channel 5 at 9pm.
