Kanye West Jay Z and Frank Ocean have been accused of stealing a song from a New York musician named Joel McDonald also known as Joel Mac. In the court docs, McDonald claims the rappers stole his 2009 song called "Made in America" and made it their own in 2011 with the same title. He is seeking $3 million in damages.
Jay and Kanye are no strangers to such lawsuits. In 2011, they were sued by Syl Johnson for plagiarizing his song called "Different Strokes" in their track "The Joy" but the case was later settled in 2012.
