Michael Strahan, who recently split from fiancée Nicole Murphy, has been accused of paying his former sister-in-law “hush money” after being caught secretly filming her stripping naked.
According to court documents obtained by The National ENQUIRER, before Strahan got engaged to Murphy, he was married for 6 years to Jean Muggli and during their divorce battle, Muggli told the Superior Court:
“I had found video equipment in my bedroom. He had been taping my sister Denise undressing.”
Muggli also said that Strahan paid her $30,000 to keep quiet about it. However, Strahan indirectly denied his ex’s accusation and said:
“all these things” the public was “reading . . . in the paper … aren’t true.”testified to the
The couple eventually settled the divorce battle and Muggli received $15.3 million in divorce settlement. Ellen C. Marshall, her divorce lawyer, told The ENQUIRER that “despite what came out of the divorce, Jean and her sister are very private people.”
