Nicki Minaj claims her dress fell apart during her performance at the VMAs on Sunday because she didn't have enough time to get ready but according to a new report, it was all staged to set tongues wagging.
Eyewitnesses, who watched Nicki's rehearsal on Sunday morning told TMZ that Nicki rehearsed the whole thing. One eyewitness said that Nicki got on stage wearing the same dress unzipped during rehearsal and she initially thought Nicki had come out in a robe but the rapper suddenly wrapping her arms around the dress in a "weird" sort of way while trying to manipulate it to see how much would be exposed.
Also, the VMAs created a make-shift dressing room, draped with black sheets, right off the stage to give Nicki enough time to change so the wardrobe malfunction thing was just BS.
