According to TMZ, paparazzi agencies have been using drones to spy celebs in their homes. Although, the LAPD is worried about paps stalking celebs in their home, there’s no law prohibiting them from shooting aerial footage of homes even if the celebs are in the shot.
A major paparazzi agency called AKM-GSI has been selling drone videos of celebrity homes and the owner, Steve Ginsburg told TMZ that he has no problem shooting the property but he wants nothing to do with images that include actual celebs behind their walls.
Ginsburg also said that that someone recently tried to sell him drone video of Miley Cyrus in her backyard but he declined as there would be a "huge backlash" if his or any other agency tried to sell the footage.
Miley even spotted the droned, shot the aircraft from the ground and uploaded it on Instagram to show the intrusion. Also, Rihanna's home was recently droned.
