On Monday, Kris Jenner filed for divorce from Bruce Jenner in Los Angeles after 23 years of marriage. In the court docs, the Kardashian matriarch cites “irreconcilable differences” as grounds for the divorce and asks for joint physical and legal custody of their 17-year-old daughter Kylie.
The divorce was filed without the involvement of lawyers. There was no prenup and their managers have already negotiated a division of property. Neither party will get spousal support.
The document lists June 1, 2013 as the official date of separation but the couple announced their separation last October. Bruce also submitted his response to Kris' petition yesterday, and asked the judge to agree to the same terms that had been laid out by his wife in her petition.
Kris and Bruce were married in 1991, one month after her divorce from Robert Kardashian Sr. was finalized. Bruce was previously married to Linda Thompson from 1981 to 1984.
Hours after the news broke, Kris tweeted about selling her clothes on eBay but did not mention the divorce. She shared a pic of herself in a black dress, along with a link and the caption: “Last chance to bid on this little number and many more on my eBay auction.”
