Nicki Minaj is not happy because her former high school, Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School wont let her speak to students.
She graduated in 2000 and was set to meet and speak to current students on Thursday but she was turned away. The rapper then took to twitter to vent her disappointment and wrote:
"I wanted to go back to my HS and speak to the students but the new principal declined. No need for me to inspire them, I guess."
Asked if the school gave a reason, Nicki told her 18.1 million followers:
"Not really...I guess I'm not good enough. That school changed my life and I wanted to pay it forward to the students there now. I was really looking forward to it."
Nicki previously spoke highly of the school and how it helped mold her into the pop star she is today. She told Teen Vogue during an interview in 2013:
“It was the first time I felt like I really fit in everyone there was so creative. For once, I didn’t feel like there was something weird about me.”
