A man has filed a lawsuit against Jay Z, Kanye West and Frank Ocean for allegedly stealing “Made In America” from him and using it on their album Watch The Throne. Joel Mac claims he was selling his CDs outside the Mercer Hotel in New York a few years ago, where the trio were recoding their album, when the project’s producer, Mike Dean, bought one of his CDs.

He claims they ripped off his song “Made In America,” modified it and gave it the same title. Mac originally filed a lawsuit against the trio in New York State but has now taken the case to a federal court. He’s asking for some of the profits they made from Watch The Throne.
