Kevin Spacey, Katie Couric and many more celebs have paid tribute to legendary director Mike Nichol, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 83 after a heart attack.
The award winning director, who was married to news anchor #DianeSawyer for 26 years, directed many projects on television, films and stage, including The Graduate, Working Girl, and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolff to Closer, Charlie Wilson’s War, Annie, Spamalot, The Birdcage, and Angels in America.
He was one of the very few people in the world to win the EGOT and was recently collaborating with #MerylStreep. He is survived by Diane, as well as three children, Daisy, Max and Jenny, and four grandchildren.
May his soul rest in peace, amen.
