#NFL Quarterback Cam Newton was hospitalized after a car accident on the Church Street Bridge on I-275 in Charlotte, North Carolina Tuesday (Dec. 9).
Cam's truck collided with a sedan and flipped over on the bridge right, not far from where he plays for the Panthers at Bank of America stadium. The 25-year-old was seen trying to stand up after the accident but couldn't. He initially didn’t want to be transported to the hospital but eventually relented and was rushed to a nearby hospital in an ambulance.
There are no updates on his condition but he was conscious and smiling at the scene, according to the Charlotte Observer.
