Judge Revokes #ChrisBrown’s Probation In #Rihanna Assault Case!

AAZ34

Chris Brown's probation in Rihanna assault case was revoked by a judge at the Superior Court in LA on Thursday. Judge James R. Brandlin made the decision after he found out that Chris violated his probation by leaving LA without the court's permission to perform in San Jose, where five people were shot on Sunday. He also failed to complete his community service sentence on time.

The judge noted that there was no evidence that Chris was involved in the shooting, but his probation officer said "there is also concern that when he performs or attends at some of his public events, people will get shot or seriously injured."

The probation officer also noted that Chris has been arrested twice while on probation and he's focusing too much on his career than his community service and rehabilitation. He recommended that Chris should serve jail time as he has shown "a pattern of making choices that are counterproductive."

Chris' lawyer #MarkGeragos argued that the probation officer incorrectly informed the singer that he didn't need permission to go to his San Jose show. The judge accepted Mark's explanation but said Chris was responsible for following the terms of his probation. The judge added that Chris was supposed to complete 1,000 hours of community service by the end of January but still had 200 hours left. The judge will hold a formal hearing on March 20 and Chris will remain free until then.

Chris’ his mother and his girlfriend #KarruecheTran were in court to support him on Thursday.
