Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder are engaged about six months after they started dating. Speculation about their engagement began swirling when Nikki was spotted wearing a huge diamond band at Sunday’s #GoldenGlobes. The engagement was announced by E! News on Thursday and a source said:
"They were crazy happy from the start. Their families love each other. It just feels really right." Ian told Nikki that he had "been in love with [her] for years" long before they're dating.
This will be the first marriage for Ian and the second for Nikki as she was previously married to #PaulMcDonald from 2011 to 2014. It was announced earlier this month that their divorce had been finalized. Ian previously dated his "The Vampire Diaries" co-star #NinaDobrev for three years before they broke up in May 2013.
