Julia Robert’s her mother Betty Lou Bredemus passed away early Thursday morning in LA after a long battle with lung cancer. Betty was 80-years-old. The actress lost her half-sister, Nancy Motes, to an apparent drug overdose on Feb. 9 last year.
Julia is currently in town filming her new movie "The Secret in Their Eyes (2015)" in LA and she was seen visiting her mother's home a few hours after she passed away. Betty used to be an acting school teacher and once ran an acting school in Smyrna, Georgia.
Her first husband, Walter Grady Roberts, who was Julia’s father, died from throat cancer when the actress was 10yrs old. Betty is survived by her children #EricRoberts, Julia, and #LisaGillan.
