Watch: #ApolloNida Checks Into Prison After Going AWOL

Apollo Nida finally showed up at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, overnight to begin serving his 8-year prison sentence. He posted a video via Instagram but didn't explain where he was or why he didn’t turn himself in on Wednesday.

Apollo Nida failed to report for his eight-year prison sentence for money laundering and check fraud on Wednesday and drove to his wife #PhaedraParks’ house instead, where he went nuts. Authorities are set to issue a warrant for his arrest.

According to TMZ, Nida was on his way to prison when he changed his mind and went to the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra’s home. Nida allegedly forced his way into the house and started screaming at Phaedra, "What the f*** is the matter with you," adding, "I don't give a f*** about the police, call them, I dare you." He even went inside the master bedroom and starting putting stuff into a big bag.  

Apparently, Nida lost it because Phaedra had refused to put money in his prison account or agree to bring their children for visits.

Bravo cameramen were at the scene and filmed the whole thing. Nida was supposed to turn himself in by noon to begin his stint behind bars after pleading guilty to numerous fraud charges earlier this year.

#ApolloNida Forced To Pay $2 Million In Restitution For Fraud Case

Apollo Nida, who is married to #PhaedraParks from the #RealHousewivesofAtlanta, has been ordered to cough up almost $2 million in restitution. He was sentenced to 8 years in prison on July 8 for bank fraud and I.D theft.

According to court documents filed in Atlanta on July 16, Nida owes a total of $1,948,214.85. Here are some of what’s “due and payable immediately”:

JP Morgan Chase - $828,300

IRS - $127,011

Delta Airlines - $24,985

State of California - $15,778

State of Connecticut - $45,525

State of Texas - $39,275

I bet he's already regretting throwing all those lavish parties. Maybe Phaedra will help him pay up. For better and for worse, right?
