On Sunday, Bar shared a pic of herself and Adi kissing and wrote: “Life is not measured by the numbers of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away”
Israeli-born-and-raised supermodel, Bar Refaeli shared a photo on Instagram yesterday in memory of the Israeli soldiers who lost their lives during the current conflict with Hamas, and captioned it:
“These days are so difficult to bare [sic]. Brave young men who have protected our country from terror. My heart goes out to their families. They will always be remembered and respected #RIP.”
She was immediately bombarded with anti-Semitic comments such as “monster terrorist” and “baby killer.” One person even wrote:
“Times like these make u wanna wonder and wonder and wonder: why…why didnt hitler finish what he started?”
Refaeli is not the only celeb who recently came under fire for daring to comment on the crisis in the Middle East. #Rihanna and #SelenaGomez also received backlash for commenting on the escalating Israeli-Palestinian situation.
