#Coldplay, #KatyPerry & #Rihanna Reportedly Offered Pay-to-play Super Bowl Scheme

Rihanna, Coldplay and Katy Perry have reportedly been approached by the #NFL to perform at the Super Bowl halftime next February but under the new pay-to-play scheme.

The scheme requires performers to give the league a portion of their touring income in exchange for the high-profile gig.

More than 115 million viewers tuned in to watch Super Bowl 2014 half-time gig which was three times more than viewers for the Oscars and 10 times more than watched last year’s MTV VMAs. Is the scheme going to work? We'll have to wait and see.

#Coldplay Donates £10,000 To Fan Battling Motor Neurone Disease

Coldplay recently surprised a fan stricken with motor neurone disease by donating £10,000 to his fundraising appeal.

British fan, Jody Duff went to a Coldplay’s concert a week before but unbeknown to him, one of his friends had written to the band about his battle with the disease. He was stunned when the money appeared on his JustGiving page.

The band later invited Jody to a second show, where #ChrisMartin dedicated the song Fix You, to him. Jody’s fund for the Motor Neurone Disease Association has since exceeded £14,000.
