Arrest Warrant Issued For Former ‘#Scandal’ Actor #ColumbusShort

A Los Angeles judge has issued a warrant for Columbus Short's arrest after he shunned a court hearing in his domestic violence case on Wednesday (July 30).

He was arrested in February for allegedly assaulting his wife, Tanee McCall and she was granted restraining order against him in March but this time was asking the judge for more protection from the actor.

TMZ reports that the previous day, Short was a no-show in a different criminal case but when the judge threatened to issue a bench warrant, Short suddenly appeared.

Actor #ColumbusShort Arrested For Public Intoxication

Not again! Former #Scandal actor Columbus Short, 31, was arrested on Friday, (#4thofJuly) for public intoxication, at the Katy Trail Ice House in Dallas.

The actor, who had been drinking heavily, ran a tab for four hours and when he got up, security thought he was about to leave without paying and confronted him, according to TMZ.

Columbus accused the security guard of racism and a scuffle ensued. A couple of off duty cops were present at the scene tried to break up the fight but Columbus started screaming at the cops and tried to attack them. He was then arrested for public intoxication and taken to jail.

This is the fourth time Columbus has in been trouble in the last four months.
