#DanityKane Breaks Up After Violent Studio Fight

Danity Kane has broken up after Dawn Richard punched Aubrey O'Day in the head during an altercation in a recording studio earlier this month.

According to TMZ, Shannon Bex and Aubrey O'Day decided to leave the band. In a statement, Aubrey said "Sadness does not even remotely begin to describe what I feel right now."  And Shannon also stated: "I now must walk away feeling used and manipulated."

The group reunited in May last year and had almost completed their new album. It’s unclear if the album will be released or not.

#DanityKane took catfight to a whole new level on Monday. Two members of the girl band got into a violent fight during a recording session at an L.A studio on Monday and had to be treated for cuts and bruises.

Apparently, Dawn Richard punched Aubrey O'Day in the head with a closed fist during the altercation and another band member, Shannon Bex tried unsuccessfully to break up the fight. Cops were called and Aubrey filed a battery report. The matter is currently being investigated.

#DanityKane Perform In Bondage-Style Outfits At #UniversalCityWalk's Show

Danity Kane set pulses racing in bondage-style outfits on Thursday night at Universal CityWalk's free Summer Music Spotlight Series. Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex and Dawn Richard showed off their assets in racy costumes teamed with thigh-high black leather boots and very heavy eye make-up.

Before the show the band said:

“We are excited to get the party started at #CityWalk. We want to show our fans what we have been doing since we finished the No Filter Tour and recording our upcoming album as the newly formed Danity Kane. It is such a great feeling to be back performing with each other and for our fans.”

The group, which was put together by #PDiddy on MTV's Making The Band, reformed last year after splitting in 2009. Danity Kane released their comeback single Lemonade on May 15 in the US.
