British Model, #DaisyLowe Opens Up About Her Body Insecurities

British Model, #DaisyLowe Opens Up About Her Body Insecurities

British model, Daisy Lowe, is on the most beautiful and successful British models but she recently revealed she has only just comes to accept her own body. The 25-year-old claims the last ten years have been filled with crippling insecurities about her hot size 8 figure.

Speaking to the Evening Standard she explained:

“If you stand me next to a normal model I look like an elephant, and that’s all right. But it’s taken me 10 years to say, “Oh, I’m actually comfortable in my shape and I’m proud of being a woman and my feminine form”. It’s definitely been a journey. It’s tough — but I’m still only a size eight!”

“I always say to my friends when they’re worrying about their weight and pulling at their bodies, ‘If I didn’t do what I did for a living, I’d love to be a size 12 or 14 and have that curvy body with those amazing tits and that great arse.”

“I think that’s so sexy, feminine and powerful. But doing what I do — I love being able to do my job and I love being able to fit into sample sizes and being able to parade around under bright lights.”

The pressure for her to stay thin  prompted Lowe to write a new cookbook called Sweetness And Light, which is made up of wheat- and dairy-free recipes that avoid refined sugar.
