#JeremyMeeks Death Hoax Goes Viral

#JeremyMeeks Death Hoax Goes Viral

The internet has gone crazy with rumors that jailbird, Jeremy Meeks was killed by his jealous wife, an hour after being released from jail.

The truth is… Jermey Meeks is not dead and hasn’t even been released from jail yet! A satirical website called Huzlers.com posted the fake story and all hell broke loose on the internet. Chicks are losing their shizz because they think their sexy blue-eyed boy is dead! Relax people it’s called a satirical site for a reason!

Huzlers.com wrote:

“According to jail records, Jeremy Meek was released from jail just before midnight on Tuesday night. About an hour later, just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday morning, Stockton Police found him laying in the road in the area of Dayton and West in Central Stockton. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he died from his wounds shortly after arriving.

During the investigation, police said Meek went to his mother’s house after leaving the jail and got into a fight with his wife. Police said Meek and his wife Lashanda Meek had longstanding personal issues. They said the fight ended with Meek laying in the road with two wounds — one they said, looked like a knife wound, the other may be a gunshot wound. Witnesses also reported a loud pop. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

Police caught Lashanda Meek on the run about a mile away from the murder scene at an apartment complex. Officers served a search warrant there looking for evidence and they also towed a minivan, which they believe was the getaway vehicle. Stocktown Police Chief Tom Morris said investigators seized a gun at the home where Jeremys wife Lashanda Meek was arrested.”

#JeremyMeek's Attorney To Ban All Camera From Court During Trial Next Week

Meeks

I'm too sexy for shackles and orange jumpsuit!

Jeremy Meeks' attorney will file a motion today to prevent the media from taking pictures or video during Meeks’ hearing set for next week.

Last week, a judge denied Meeks' request to wear designer suit to court instead of the orange jumpsuit and shackles made for prisoners.

In the court documents filed today, Meek’s attorney stated that because Meeks’ mugshot has been published by thousands of media outlets and "become woven in the fabric of pop culture,” Meeks appearing before the judge in prison jumpsuit and shackles might make him look guilty and jeopardize his chance of an unbiased jury and trial.

What? You've got to be kidding! This is a guy facing weapons charges and a very long jail sentence....if found guilty.

Jeremy Meeks, the alleged gang member who became an Internet sensation after his handsome mug shot was posted on a police Facebook site, is in talks with top designers to dress him during his trial, according to the MailOnline .
Tai Bogan, known as the Pitbull because of his ‘aggressive’ style of defense, has been secured by Meeks to represent him against gun and gang related charges. Meeks was in court on June 27 and during the five-minute hearing at San Joaquin County court in Stockton, California, he was forced to wear a regulation orange prison jumpsuit and have his hands shackled.

Bogan, who is being paid with money raised through a family Gofundme page, said that it was important that his client looked as ‘good as possible’ before a jury and to that end the family were close to signing designers to cloth him during his court appearances.
Bogan asked Judge Franklin Stephenson for permission for Meeks to wear civilian clothes during future preliminary hearings. He said that because his picture was posted ‘millions and millions’ of times on the Internet, it was prejudicial against a fair trial for him to be ‘in handcuffs and prison garb’.

Judge Stephenson declined the motion claiming it was in the best interest of security for Meeks to be shackled. However when Meeks finally appears before a jury for trial, it is the law that he will be able to wear his own clothes, Bogan told Mail Online.
After the hearing, Bogan said: ‘
We are talking to designers to provide clothing for him during this case. ‘We want him to look as good as possible in the court. We are worried that current pictures of him in prison garb will mean he will not get a fair trial.’
Gina Rodriguez, who has guided V. Stiviano, the woman at the center of the Donald Sterling scandal, now represents Meeks. While Tom Ford is not dressing the hunky prisoner Rodriguez told Mail Online that:
'The modeling management we are working with has a stylist who was going to dress Jeremy in a Tom Ford suit.'
