#DrewBarrymore's Half-Sister #JessicaBarrymore Died Of Drugs And Alcohol Mix

On Wednesday, San Diego Coroner’s Office revealed that Drew Barrymore’s half-sister, Jessica Barrymore died of an accidental overdose. According to PEOPLE, the coroner’s report states that Jessica had a deadly combination of alcohol and drugs in her system, including acute methamphetamine, methadone, tramadol and nordiazepam.

Jessica was found dead in her car in National City, C.A on July 29, two days before her 48th birthday, with dozens of white pills scattered in the car. At the time, her friends insisted she did not commit suicide but in an interview with the New York Daily News, Jessica’s brother, #JohnBarrymore said that he believed her death was due to “drug misadventure, mixing alcohol and pills.

#DrewBarrymore’s Stepsister Found Dead In Her Car

Drew Barrymore’s stepsister, Jessica Barrymore was found dead after committing suicide near San Diego on Tuesday.

According to 10 News:

A neighbor, Marta Lopez was on her way to work on Tuesday morning when she noticed Jessica’s driveway near Hoover and 9th Streets was blocked by a car. She went over to ask if anyone needed help but got no response. 

The woman in the was later identified as the 47-year-old Barrymore and she was reclined in her driver’s seat with a can of SoBe energy drink between her legs and dozens of white pills scattered on the passenger’s seat, according to Lopez, who then called cops.

Jessica and Drew Barrymore share the same father, actor John Drew Barrymore. Jessica Barrymore posted a cryptic quote on her Facebook page on Monday:

“Life doesn’t always introduce you to the people you WANT to meet. Sometimes, #life puts you in touch with the people you NEED to meet to Help You, to Hurt You, to Guide You, to Leave You, to Love You, and to gradually Strengthen You into the Person You Were Meant to Become.”
