An artist is set to display the recently leaked nude pic of Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton as part of his "Fear Google" campaign.
According to E! News, Cory Allen Contemporary Art in L.A announced on Wednesday that the artist, XVALA will print unaltered life-size copies of the images on canvas and display them to the public in his upcoming exhibition called "No Delete".
The artist will also display his seven-year collection of images found on Google of celebrities in their most vulnerable and private moments, that were put together by either hackers or the paparazzi, including #BritneySpears' shaved head portrait and the leaked naked images of #ScarlettJohansson with the "Fear Google" logo covering her intimate areas.
The artist XVALA said:
"I'm taking them off the internet and putting them into a new medium that is transformative. I'll be using them as commentary. I hope we don't need an attorney."
"No Delete" is set to open on October 30 at CACA's The Showroom in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
The FBI is now investigating the leaked celebrity nude photo scandal and a spokesperson for the bureau issued a statement on Monday saying:
“The FBI is aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high profile individuals, and is addressing the matter. Any further comment would be inappropriate at this time."
On Sunday hackers caused an internet storm after releasing over 101 naked pics of celebs which they reportedly got their hands on due to a glitch in Apple’s iCould system. An Apple spokesperson told Recode.net they are "actively investigating" whether or not their iCloud system was hacked as part of this leak.
#JenniferLawrence and #KateUpton are pursuing legal action against the hackers and anyone involving in disseminating the pics. Last night, #KirstenDunst became the latest celeb featured in the leak to comment via Twitter and she blamed Apple while acknowledging the photos are real. She tweeted "Thank you iCloud."
Nude pics of 101 A-listers including Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Ariana Grande #TeresaPalmer, #Rihanna #KikiDunst, #MaryElizabethWinstead, #HopeSolo and #KirstenDunst, have been leaked online by a hacker. The pics were shared on 4Chan, who got a hold them due to an iCloud leak on Sunday, and now the pics have taken Twitter by storm and spread like wildfire.
A rep for Jennifer Lawrence confirmed that the risqué pics her posing topless on a couch and drinking a glass of wine in nothing but lace panties are indeed authentic, but blasted the leak as “a vagrant violation of privacy.”
“The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence,” the rep warned.
Ariana's spokesman said: "The photos are completely fake.”
Some of the victims posted comments via Twitter about their disgust and disappointment at the massive invasion of privacy. More photos and even videos will be released and there are about 200 photos and two videos in total. Twitter is shutting down accounts that are retweeting the pics.
