Prince Harry was caught in a high-speed car crash on his way to the Invictus Games on Thursday. According to the Telegraph, one of his police motorcycle escorts had a head-on collision with a white Toyota Prius taxi on Prince Albert Road in London.
The driver of the Range Rover carrying Prince Harry reportedly took “evasive” action and drove past the crash before stopping several hundred feet up the road because he feared it was a possible terrorist attack as yesterday was 9/11.
Although Harry was insistent that they stopped, his team advised that the Range Rover should drive on for security purposes. However, bodyguards, who were not traveling in Harry’s car, stopped to help the police rider and the taxi driver, who required medical treatment.
The motorcycle rider was discharged from hospital on Thursday night while the taxi driver is in "stable" condition.
Prince Harry is reportedly enjoying a romantic vacation with his new girlfriend Camilla Thurlow in St. Tropez, France. They were first spotted kissing at the Tonteria nightclub in London last month and on August 23, Harry reportedly asked Camilla to go on vacation with him.
A source told Us Weekly magazine that:
“This trip's partly to celebrate Harry's 30th birthday which is just weeks away [on September 15]. It's also because he deserves some time off work to relax and recharge his batteries.”
The couple, who started dating six weeks ago, has been spending most of their time indoors at a friend's luxury villa instead of going out.
Also, a Source told E! that:
"They've been talking until late into the night and having one of those magical times that you have when you first fall in love and want to find out everything you can about the other person. Harry's had no interest whatsoever in going out and just wants to focus on Camilla without any distractions," the source said.
"Camilla's the full package-she's got beauty and brains. But Harry loves how she's devoted her life to charity-she's fully committed to helping other people and he sees a lot of his mother Diana's goodness in her, “the source continued.
"[Harry] sees Camilla as much more than a fling. This was supposed to be Harry's last summer of fun before he turned 30 and got serious and settled down. The second he decided he'd spend July and August partying and being young, carefree and single while he still could be he was introduced to Camilla by his cousin Princess Beatrice and his crazy party plans went out of the window and all of a sudden he's acting like a contented married man."
"It's a great sign-it shows how mature he is now and that he realizes when he finds happiness to not let go of it and to nurture it."
The source also said that Camilla told her friends that Harry is "sweet, sensitive and so romantic."
Party boy, Prince Harry joined thousands of beer lovers at the Great British Beer festival in London's Olympia on August 14. He was spotted chatting with a group of friends as they checked out cider and beers stands at the event before taking part in playing pub games.
The festival, which showcases thousands of beers and ciders, takes place from August 12-16. Visitors can take part in beer tasting tutorials and sample food from vendors.

Apparently, after the wedding on Saturday, Harry and his friends danced and drank the night away but when they left, Harry forgot his wallet and iPhone.
A source told the Mail online:
"I was about to drive off, and Harry was out in the grounds with friends. He then jumped in front of my car with his arms stretched, shouting, “Arghh.” He then told me, “Don’t go, don’t go!” It was funny. His handprint is still on my windscreen.”
The source added:
“When I returned it to the Prince he was happy and thanked me and shook my hand. I knew it was Harry’s as I had seen him with the same wallet before. He puts it on the table when he sits down. He told us that the best thing about the wedding was that he could be himself, and nobody bothered him because he was Prince Harry. He was so funny. He drank a bit during the wedding, but they all drank”
Harry’s ex-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, 28, was among the guests, and reportedly remained at his side for most of the weekend and even went for a dip in the swimming pool with him.
“The English, they like to drink at parties. But he was having such a good time. He spent a lot of time with Chelsy, but they seemed to be good friends,” he added.
