Russell Brand called his ex-wife Katy Perry an “amazing person” during an appearance on the “Today Show” on Monday, where he talked about his “big views on big issues. The former couple, who got engaged in 2009, tied the knot in October 2010 in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Rajasthan, India but Russell filed for divorce in December 2011.

#KatyPerry's Ex-Hubby, #RussellBrand Investigated For Allegedly Assaulting Masseuse

Katy Perry’s ex-hubby, Russell Brand, who allegedly dumped her via text message on New Year’s Eve, has made headlines again for all the wrong reasons.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the British comedian was investigated by Thames Valley Police after a masseuse accused him of assaulting her during an appointment at the £15 million ­Oxfordshire mansion of his current girlfriend, #JemimaKhan.

In June, Szilvia Berki, 31, who charges £500 per massage, alleged that Brand shoved her in a scuffle after he decided he didn’t want a massage, which was a birthday present from his girlfriend. However, they paid for her transportation fare to and fro.

Berki reported the incident to cops who investigated and later dropped the case due to lack of evidence. Thames Valley Police confirmed they are reviewing the way the investigation was handled after a complaint was received.
