U2 performed at a free concert in New York City on Monday as part of World AIDS Day and the band was joined by several musicians including #KanyeWest #CarrieUnderwood and Bruce Springsteen. #Bono wasn’t at the show as he is recuperating from the injuries he sustained in a recent cycling accident but Chris Martin and Springsteen filled in for him.

Bono had a cycling accident in New York’s Central Park on Sunday and injured his arm so bad he required surgery. Last week, the singer escaped death after the door of his private jet fell off mid-air before landing in Berlin from Dublin.
