Emily Blunt is showing she is certainly not someone to mess with these days if latest pictures of her shooting new sci-fi film Edge of Tomorrow. The 31-year-old star looks every inch a fully-fledged action woman as she is seen looking fierce as she pulls a gun out, no doubt on some unfortunate aliens.
While she looked the part in a heavy-duty bullet-proof vest, the brunette beauty's action attire enabled her to show off her toned stomach. What's more, her arms were seen looking more muscly for her upcoming new role.
The action movie focuses on an impending future in which an alien race has hit the Earth and must be tackled by the military, who struggle to curb their presence. Tom Cruise plays Major William Cage, an officer who has never seen a day of combat, when he is unceremoniously dropped into a dangerous war-zone. Killed within minutes, he finds himself in a time loop which forces him to live out the same brutal combat over and over again in which he must continuously lose his life.
Emily portrays Special Forces soldier Rita Vraraski, who attempts to train Tom's alter-ego to break free of the loop. Edge Of Tomorrow is released in UK cinemas and IMAX on May 30, 2014.
