On Tuesday, (June 8) Apollo Nida was sentence to 8 years in federal prison which is one quarter of the maximum sentence for the type of fraud he committed.
He was on the show called "#RealHousewivesofAtlanta" with wife Phaedra Parks and was arrested after he got involved in cashing stolen checks and laundering more than $2.3 million through fake bank accounts.
Apparently, the judge said Nida got off easy because he divulged valuable criminal secrets to federal investigator. If he hadn’t, he would have been sent down for 30 years.
