#JoanRivers’ Doctors Delayed Calling 911 After She Went Into Cardiac Arrest

AAR12

A new report claims that the doctors who performed Joan Rivers’ throat surgery delayed calling emergency services for 10 minutes after she went into cardiac arrest in August.

Page Six reports that the doctor from Yorkville Endoscopy, where the procedure took place, and Joan’s own ENT tried to resuscitate the late comedienne but failed in that critical 10 minutes.

The information pieced together from confidential EMT records, interviews and a federal report shows that the specialists continued to perform scoping procedures on Joan’s larynx and trachea for 14 minutes as her pulse and blood pressure dropped. After she went into cardiac arrest they attempted to unsuccessfully resuscitate her for 10 minutes before calling 911.

Joann was said to have died due to "therapeutic complications" but her daughter #MelissaRivers still has concerns about the decisions that were made and who made them on August 28.
