Mama June Shannon and her convicted child molester beau, Mark McDaniel have split and she's now trying to get back together with Sugar Bear, the father of Alana Thompson aka #HoneyBooBoo. McDaniel sexually assaulted her daughter Anna Cardwelll during their relationship years ago.
Sugar Bear has already moved back in with Shannon at the family's house and she told TMZ that they're "working on the relationship," but she didn't consider them "back together." She also said it would "take a lot of work" to regain his trust because he is still hurt over her decision to reignite her relationship with McDaniel back in March.
Shannon and McDaniel’s relationship was uncovered after they were caught on camera in bed and house hunting together. It sparked backlash and led to the cancellation of the family's reality show by TLC. Shannon initially denied the rumor but now she admits it.
"I'm human, I made mistakes and done wrong, but no one is perfect," she said before adding that she no longer has any contact with McDaniel.
