Hilary Duff finally filed for divorce from Mike Comrie on Friday, a year after they separated. The 27-year-old actress/singer filed the legal docs via her attorney #LauraWasser and cited irreconcilable differences. She’s seeking primary physical custody of their son, Luca, who turns 3 next month, and wants Mike to have visitation privileges.
Sources told TMZ that Hilary is concerned about Mike’s pattern of partying and its potential impact on the toddler. She decided to file after months of delay because of media reports that Mike recently made a scene at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills by making unwanted advances on women.
Hilary and Mike have a prenup but details of the agreement were not revealed. She married the hockey player on August 14, 2010. They welcomed their son Luca Cruz Comrie in March 2012. Back in April 2014, the couple confirmed through a representative that they had separated.
