#VictoriaBeckham Shows Off Her New Flagship Store In London

Victoria Beckham opened up her first flagship store for her Victoria Beckham fashion brand in London’s Mayfair on Thursday. The 6,000sq ft store has no tills, no window displays and no rails but it has huge changing rooms. Victoria previously explained why.

“It’s the first time people can see the brand through my eyes,” she said. “I didn’t want a traditional shop window, just a plain window, and a huge concrete sliding door. We’re not going to have any ugly tills anywhere. Payment is with an iPad, so we can go to the customer on whatever floor she’s on.”

Victoria is currently in New York but her hubby #DavidBeckham attended the store launch today. Victoria's parents Sandra and Tony Adams and her sister Louise Adams were also there.

Victoria Beckham is very proud of her handsome hubby David. The fashion designer took to Twitter to gush about his latest topless pics in “AnOther Man” magazine and even picking out her favorite.

David posed shirtless and showed off his tattoos in the mag’s autumn/winter issue which hits newsstands on Thursday, September 25. After seeing the snaps, Victoria tweeted:

Later, she shared the pic above and wrote: "My favorite image x AnotherMan beautiful x vb."

David Beckham sat front row at his wife, Victoria’s SS15 fashion show at the Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week in New York, on Sunday but things got a bit unglamorous when the couple headed out for a celebratory dinner later that night.

They had to navigate their way through a huge bunch of trash discarded on the sidewalk. David held Victoria's hand and led her safely through the garbage. Later that night, David was spotted chatting with a homeless man before handing him $20 from his wallet. Nice guy!!

#VictoriaBeckham To Sell Over 600 Designer Items In Aid Of #Mothers2mothers Charity

Fashion designer, Victoria Beckham has partnered with theoutnet.com to sell hundreds of her items in aid of the charity, #mothers2mothers, which trains, employs and empowers mothers living with HIV and educates them on how to prevent the transmission of HIV from mothers to babies.

Back in February, Victoria visited the charity in South Africa and was so moved by the experience that she decided to help raise money and awareness for the them.

The Out,  which is part of The Net-a-Porter Group, will offer the items for sale online and interested customers must register online from August 5. The pieces include hats, shoes, bags and jewelry, designer ready-to-wear, costume pieces, coats, skiwear and evening dresses

As a special treat for Victoria’s fans and The Out customers, an auction of 10 of the most iconic pieces from Victoria’s wardrobe will be put up for sale in a ‘Going, Going, Gone’ reverse auction, where the starting price reduces by a fixed amount every five minutes.

Victoria Beckham: "I want to empower women"

Victoria Beckham is doing rather well isn't she? The fashion designer and mother of four adorns the cover of ELLE Singapore magazine's July issue in which she revealed that she wants to empower women through her clothing line. The 40-year-old told the publication, about who she thinks wears the VB dresses:

“I think that she’s a woman that wants to look good, appreciates luxury and likes fashion. I want to make a woman feel her best. I want to empower women.”

Posh Spice, as she's been know since her early days with the Spice Girls, insists she loves to laugh at herself. 

“People are probably surprised that I have a sense of humor. I like to take the mickey out of myself.  As much as I take what I do very seriously, I also want to have fun. I like to poke fun at myself… And I think that surprises people.”

She won the Best Emerging Luxury Brand at the 2011 Walpole Awards, and Designer Brand of the Year at the 2011 British Fashion Awards but Victoria insists she doesn't feel the need to compete against other companies. 

“I’m not competing with anybody else out there; I’m just competing with myself. I never went into this to prove anything to anybody, other than myself. I think if you’re too afraid of failure then you won’t challenge yourself, then you won’t move forward. I like to challenge myself.”
