Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are apparently planning to renew their wedding vows. The couple started dating in 2004 and married at their Los Angeles home on August 16, 2008 in front of 19 guests. The pair are looking to do something on or around August 16, their sixth wedding anniversary, in Portia's home country of Australia.
A source told OK! magazine that the duo 'want to show their commitment to each other and they want it to be in Sydney because help spur the acceptance of same-sex marriage.'
The happy couple recently splashed out on installing a $35,000 home spa at their house in Holmby Hills, California. Ellen, 56, and 41-year-old Portia bought the home for a whopping $40 million in January.
Ellen tweeted that she was welcoming summer on Monday as she marked Memorial Day.
'It's Memorial Day! Today is considered the unofficial start of summer. The official one is when I get my season pass to Hurricane Harbor,' the star wrote.
The talk show host recently denied divorce rumours to a March issue of People magazine, revealing: 'I love her so much it kills me. The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do.'She surprises me all the time. It's what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We're really lucky because we know how rare it is.'
